For foreign and Canadian experience to be claimed, is NOC code required to be the same?

I have 3+ years of experience as an Information Systems Testing Technician in India (NOC code 22222).
In Canada, I studied for two years for my Master's degree.
My current experience is 1 year as a Data Scientist in Canada, under NOC code 21211.
My question is
Can I claim points for both NOC code - 22222 and NOC code 21211? For foreign and Canadian experience to be claimed, is the NOC code required to be the same?

No, the NOC need not be the same. You can use both NOCs but make sure that the primary NOC you select is the Canadian one.
