???This is unacceptable my dear Friend, Canada has no system, they find excuses, they have been avoiding the real problem, and you as an Immigrant are paying the price. Tony88 is right that the system is untenable, however I think there are three side to every story (mine, yours, and somewhere in between is the truth) and we are all quick to jump on CIC.. what about the thousands who continue to abuse the immigration system though? are'nt they in some way to blame for the mess that we are in as well?

You can read posts on other sections of this forum where countless people were granted PR status and now more than two years have passed on how much time have they spent in Canada? none!! they are now trying to find ways of beating the system again to regain entry without loosing their PR status.

I know that this may make me unpopular, but for someone who has been waiting for 6 years hoping to make Canada my home, planing for years how I will wrap up my affairs in the shortest time to leave, it is a slap in the face to see how many people have clogged up the system, been fortunate to get PR status, and then shove it in a draw somewhere.... for what ever reason.

Dear Applicants, the bottom line is, Canada does not care, it's the truth. From their point of view, it's simple, you do not want to wait, cancel your application. less files to process and do checks on. No matter what you may believe, Canada is open and they want Investors, it's not the case. They themselves created this backlog, no one else. Immigration should be a simple process, but no CIC Canada complicated it. So my Dear Friends, you want to come to Canada, you must be very patient and put up with their lies.

As i always say (PATIENCE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME) so if you want to immigrate to CANADA,you need alot of patience as it is long procedure for sure !

Its been 43 months since my application process started under FEDERAL INVESTOR CATEGORY but now almost it is in the last stage where i can expect their email any time for investment with the Canadian Govt. and then they will request for passports !

SO HAVE PATIENCE (GOD IS WITH THOSE WHO SHOW PATIENCE) !

@nabil2009 : Brother the reason is that i couldnot apply under skiller workers as all the professions in the list were not of my match ............ Another reason that when applied so the processing time was around 12 - 18 months which was not much ......... Third and last reason was that after 5 years of investment i will get each & every penny of my money back,so it is for sure frustating category but profitable as after 5 years you will get all your money back and you will also be a Canadian national (if all goes well) !

@rock-khan, sound looks good but all the calculation goes wrong. This is true we will get back the money but the time we are spending it's really horrible to explain.

This is non refundable. W are paying this amount for the interest or commission to the financial institution who provided the fund ($400,000) for us to Canadian govt.

Did you get any updates bro? At present which stage you are? If you don't mind will you share?
