For Applicants of 2007 (in London): Has Anyone received documents update letter?

I did contact an equiry through my MP after having simillar standard replies from cic london.

Here was a snip of reply to the mp office through my phone. They sent a very long long response.

1. The cic received 640,000 by 28 Feb 2008, So within this group they have applicants who are exception that they are targetting to complete their application within the next 12 months. Those on Exception category are those who had received doc requests or medicals.

2. On this 640000 they have ony managed to finalise 300,000 applicants so they were sayin they are really really behind and the time scale mentioned will not apply.

3. Another factor is they are only allowed to issue a certain amount of visa each year, so they also are battlings with those who applied after feb 2008 before the rules changed again in jun 2010 or something like that (date for june not sure accurate).

They will be emailing me that fax so will understandit beetter and will write again. She did not want to forward it as she did not want her contact to be sent to me so its actually being sent via postal office.

Hi guys,
Nearly 4 to 5 threads in this forum for 2007 applications from london, just one thread would have done as it would have had collective views, sharing & knowledge, however i will now keep checking all these threads on dialy basis to catch up with any fresh news.

My AOR- October 2007, haven't heard nothing since then, nearly nearly 44 months of processing time elapsed, and yet the same two words upon signing in every morning " IN PROCESS"
Is there any one in the same situation as i am or me alone in the boat ?

and like you no reply yet.

No, I have not and do not intend to apply for it as I am no longer in the race - waiting for refund and reply to my withdrawal. However, I also think that the CAIPS will not have any entries anyway. Hence, I am of the opinion that this is just a waste of time and money, unless you have submitted your full documents and they have started processing it for a while.
Anyway, I do not think that they follow all these Brought forward dates.
I really got fed up with all the waiting, and when I requested for an update,they replied with something like we have enough applicants to fulfill their "F......" quota for the next 2 years and blah blah blah.
I thought, what the heck, after waiting for "F........." 43months, hmmm.. is this what they have to say, "Fcuk " the whole thing and just forget about it.

Anyway good luck, and hopefully they will bring forward your file on the 30th of June as stated in your CAIPS note.

We are still waiting..AOR november 2007.
Our agent sent them an email and they replied that it would be AT LEAST another two years!
We'll just leave it running but we are getting on with our lives here now...we trust God to know what's right for us.
Does anyone know if you can make a new application and leave this one running?
