For Applicants of 2007 (in London): Has Anyone received documents update letter?

Hi.

No update letter yet. My AOR is Nov. 2007, hopefully I will receive one this year.
I think there is still no movement of applicants for the last quarter of 2007 in london
visa office. Are you also working in a hospital in abudhabi? And are you a Filipino like me?

I filed my application in May 2007 in London.
CHC did not do anything concerning my application until July 2009
and the whole thing was rushed in the spate of 6months.Got our visas in March 2010
The general feeling is that CHC London has exceeded the quota for FSW for the year 2010
while targeting 2011 to finalise some outstanding applications that belong to this set.
It is advisable you send an email for update on your application and am sure they will reply.
A friend did same thing and was told to expect his request for medicals in Jan 2011.

Just would like to share my timeline with you. I too belong under the old system:

Initial App : July 2007
AOR : August 2008
Full Docs sent : Nov 2009
Medical Request: May 2010
Medical Done + RPRF: July 01 2010
PPR : July 26 2010
Time Given to submit passport: within 45days
waiting for renewed passport;;;;;;;;

Visa Office : CHC London
Location : Dubai, UAE

guess not many applicants in this room who applied in last quarter of 2007 from London under FSW

I have applied for Canadian immigration uder FSW in Oct 2007 from London , Ever since I received 2 mails, AOR in nov 2007 & the second mail asked me if I would like to withdraw. Each time I check my status online – it says the same – “IN PROCESS” i now feel sick to log in coz i know the status will be the same
I am a bit concerned as it is almost 33+ months since I have applied, I would just like to know if it's a normal/standard procedure of processing? Am I in the same boat as others who have applied in last quarter of 2007 or has anyone received a request for documents update ?

I also received my file number in Nov 2007 and since then application is "in process".
My agent told me that i can receive the docs update request any day now as these days sept-Oct 2007 cases are being taken up. So hopefully u will receive the update letter very soon.
