for how long should we wait for the AOR, any idea friends?

Hi all,

I applied under NOC 4131 using my experience as an ESL Teacher.
Application sent to CIO early-Oct, received AOR early Dec. All my docs are due in a few weeks and the pressure is on to get everything I need. Police reports are proving to be the most difficult.
Some advice for those still waiting for AOR = start to get your documents together now.

I did apply under NOC 4131.I copied all the stuff from the website,I mean the duties,and pasted it on the form.I got my AOR yesterday based on the same NOC and experience.I guess teachers are in demand in Canada.I withdrew my application just today.

Me too, I applied under NOC 4131 since I am University lecturer for 3 years and a half.....I applied on 30th of DEC 2009....no AOR til now...just waiting....so frustrated.....

No worries dude, yr date of application is still quite earlier, and its only Feb, u still have time to wait, i applied in Jul 09 and got my AOR sometime in Oct and then i just received my full documents request on Jan 4, just did my medicals last week, still waiting for later stages, so be patient, yr turn will come.

I also applied under 4131, as i have been lecturing for Unis in US and UK for more than 8 yrs.
