Hi canada is life:

You got answer to name on photos ...

Reg fee in the instruction guide it was mentioned we can pay single fee as one payment if we are sending all applications together .... I did same in my case a family of 4... just one receipt .... the same receipt I printed 4 copies and attached to each application at end in the sequence they asked in the document checklist ....there is a bar code on receipt , that’s enough for them to know fee paid or not ....

I think we are good ....

It clearly asks "now" or have you "ever been", so it means ever in your life, not just the eligibility period.

You've answered that wrong as they are only interested in those who lived outside of Canada during the eligibility period - which you have said you didn't. It sounds like you've been clear however so I wouldn't expect your application to be returned.

it is during the eligibility period; everyone who applies now has the eligibility period starting with oct 2012; even if they became PR in 2013 or even 2014; the trick with the new rule is that you can still be eligible before PR, they just formulated the questio. wrong; the forms before had this question better
from what i read answering this question is 50/50; anyone can interpret it differently; there is no clear right or wrong and i don't think they will return files because of this ;)

Just curious .. those who applied on Oct 11th itself .. how did you manage that ..?
From what I could see, there were application form printing issues, checklist has to be updated, new calc not accessible issues, etc .. so how did you guys send your apps out same day ..?

we were one day late but here's what i could have done differently:
1. pay before, like 2 weeks ago ;)
2. use the calculator from the french page, it was not that slow
3. stay late and get the forms as soon they were updated, oct 11 12am ;)
4. even fill in the french forms as last resort

yah ok thanx... its just as i thought LOL ... and yes it's clear on question the word "ever been" but still,, this question I believe will not be a cause to prevent a individual to became a Citizen....

need help with
Q14. do we need to send the TRV, study permit, work permit if that falls in the eligibility time line? and do i need to attach those?

I think I need some help; I lived outside Canada during my eligibility and I mentioned that in the residency calculator. However, in Question 9c, I answered "No" thinking that the question is about crown servants and that rare situation doesn't apply to me anyway.

What do you think would be the solution for that? Note that I've already submitted my application.

I think this is not just for eligibility period, I would call the CIC call center and asked them before answering this question.

Qs 9c is ambiguous. Hopefully, IRCC will be lenient about it. Did you attach a cover letter explaining the situation ?

There is no way you could have been able to put the days because all they allow is just YYYY/MM
Try clicking on the box.The whole calendar pop up is there.

Unfortunately, I didn't attach any cover letter explaining that simply because the question is about crown servant which doesn't apply to me at all. Furthermore, I mentioned in my residency calculator and in Q12 that I lived outside Canada during my eligibility period.

I'm pretty sure travel documents refer to Passports or other immigration-according documents. I don't believe you have to mention visas in the section you're referring to.
I did not mention visas and it did not cause me any issues. Visa is not a travel document.
