Hi ,
I have very recently applied to immigrate to Canada. I apologise if this question has already been asked but does anyone know if the date of the application is from when it is received in Sydney or when you have to forward a copy to the local immigration offices in your own country? Reason I am asking is that I have a birthday coming up soon.

dear hugh,,,, if ur query is about the process time than it counts from the day when CHC recvd ur application but if asking 4 points u claimed in ur initial application than ur initial application b.day will b considered 4 decision making.

Dear Alls ...need urgent help pleaseeeeeeeeee

I got my Initial Approval for submission of documentation to VISA office ISLAMABAD and the e-mail recieved date was 5th-January 2010.. they have advised me to submit my supporting documents to VISA OFFICE ISLAMABAD with in 120 days of e-mail (dated: 5th-January-2010). I am finalizing my documents and yesterday i got news that from 1st April all the documents from Pakistan in FSW category will be send to VISA office ENGLAND..... am much worried and as i am doing all this at my own without any counsultant... PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE GUIDE me in this matter my late date of document submission is 5th- May 2010... WHERE I HAVE TO SUBMIT MY DOCUMENTS....VISA OFFICE ISLAMABAD (as mentioned in e-mail from Nova Scotia) OR TO VISA OFFICE ENGLAND (recent update from 1st April onward).... please helppppppppppppppp

Need Information Regarding CIC Sydney Novo Scotia Processing Times

Hi Everybody,

I am new to this forum and I have applied for FSW application on March 8th (Initially applied on November 21st, I got package returned twice as I missed replying N/A and second reason was the payment method, I paid on the CIC website with Credit Card is not acceptable for FSW, I resend them again this time with my US Credit Card)

I have been looking at my CC for charges from CIC but so far they have not charged anything! Will I get AOR or reply without my CC being charged? How should I follow up if there are problems with CC. I have informed my Credit Card to let it through if they get any charges from Canada Immigration.

Please tell me what I should be doing? Should I send them email or should I still be hopeful that I will get AOR and not the package back. I have applied as 0111 category!

ur visa office in ur application will remain unchage but u need to send application package to london CHC not to CHC Islamabad...

please write me in detail when did u re-sent ur application to CIO and did u sent payment form mentioning amount and mode of payment (Credit card in ur case) along with ur application or not?.
when i submitted my application i paid fee to CIO thru CC as well and it cause me no trouble....

However if its the date the Sydney office recived my documents then I will not loose 2 points as they should have received my application by now.

I didn't yet get my AOR while my application was received by nova scotia on 02-02-10. i applied under 0111 category. It is almost 2 months.

Can anyone calculate my point on the basis of following information.

AGE 35
Exp 08 years
Education MBA-Finance ( 16 years of education )
Spouse Master ( 16 years of education )
Relative Brother in canada
IELTS (Speaking 5.5, Writing 5.5, Reading 4.0, Listening 4.5 )
