Do not worry, I am very hopeful that you will get AOR soon.

You need to reprint all forms with new dates and have to sign it again for second stage. Update forms if you have some new information like new family member, change in address or job. CIC will keep your file you sent and will not return anything to you if approved.

List of Docs you need in second round depends upon your current country. You can get required doc list for second stage in "Visa Office-specific forms" from this URL (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled-mission.asp). Start preparing documents in this list from now.

Thanks a lot Mubbashirbhai, I checked in the cic website (PR Status) using my Client ID (from my Temp Working Visa). They have created a file as I could see my address and under status it says "Application Received" meaning evaluation is still going on. Hope for the best and best of luck to you too. Cheers. Dear ArKhan,

You need to send your wife's Passport (notarized copy), NIC (notarized translated copy), and Birth Certificates (original) and notarized copy of education certificates. Do not send original education document of anyone including you. Because later it is very difficult to get back if your application is in queue.

You need to submit Police Clearance Certificates of all your family members (age 18+) and your wife even they are not going with you to Canada. It’s mandatory.

When is the right time to apply for PCC? As we both applied almost at the same time, do advise me? It seems the AOR is not getting updated after March 19th applicants. What's going on?

Praying to God, give us VISA at the earliest.

Right time to apply PCC is when you got AOR because you cannot have it more than 3 months old, for all other documents, you can complete any time (before or after AOR).

Hello,

I noticed that CIC has charged my credit card on Feb 24, 2010 but I did not receive any email or mail from them for further action.

Can any body tell how long it takes for them to send the receipt of the payment? What kind of letter do they send? If I did not receive it as 12 days have passed already, what should I do?

Kindly check your email "Junk folder" or add "@cic.gc.ca" domain in your safe list. Still if there is no email then don’t need to worry, many people have same scenario, CIC often send AOR after 20-30 Days. In my opinion, you should wait.
