Don't be scared of an interview call. Just be ready to face any eventuality. If the information you have furnished is correct and nothing has been concealed from CIC, you need not to worry. Just be relax and don't panic.
You have enough time to get prepared. Just prepare yourself and presume what they can ask and what would be your answers. You should be brief, don't speak much but whatever required. Wear formal dress for the day, be active still controlled. Just speak in a moderate way that the officer can easily listen to you, not loudly or not slowly. If you don't understand some question request the officer to repeat the question and then answer. Don't speak in between. Let the officer finish his question and then answer. Reach half an hour before the scheduled time and register youself at the reception for the interview call. Keep with you all the required documents (with photocopies wherever required). Place the documents in a systematic way so that you can show when asked for by the officer. You have be having answers for all the information you had furnished while filling up application form. Keep photocopy of the application form ready. Also keep ready all the documents of the dependents mentioned in the application. Just have a rehearsal of the interview at home so that you may not get nervous on the day.
But above all, be confident and positive, sometimes they just want to see the applicants to ensure themselves, as a routine matter. They also cannot pass every file without taking interview. Sometimes interviews are just formalities. But one has to get prepared for that.
Best of Luck.
