Persons 55 years of age and over are exempt from taking the written/oral test.

Will the citizenship officer ask them questions at the interview?

If yes, What questions will be asked?

TQ.

I don't think the questiosns will be based on the study guide Discover Canada since you are exempt from the citizenship test. Best is to call CIC thought to confirm this.

I do not know what they ask them but when I did my citizenship test, there was a line up for passport check outside the room where the citizenship test would be held. The judge was sitting in that room and the 55 and older were called out of the line to go in to see the judge. The door was open but it was too far away for me to spy what they were saying. However, they did not seem to be asked many questions and it seemed to be a very friendly interchange.
