Hi all,
I applied under FSW Category 3 (now in Canada) and am now preparing documents.
for the proof of funds, they require a bank statement. Which kind of statement should that be? just a copy of regular monthly balance statement or is there a specific form?
Also, I heard that some consulates (ie Buffalo) ask people for last year tax assessment notices even if they do not list it on their checklist. Any ideas why they need this information? do you think i should submit it even it it is not required?
thank you for any input!

regular bank statement suffice i guess.

the tax assessment document will give them the picture that you are staying in canada and paying the tax to government.
i too read in a different forum as they mentioned providing the tax assessment is a good thing to do if you have.
