FOIA request - entry/exit records for US Travel

Friends,

I created a login with FOIA and submitted a request to ask for entry / exit records for US travel. It’s been over a month and half already and the request is still in SUBMITTED status. FYI - I also have a request for I94 records and no progress there too. FYI - when I try to get it online, it doesn’t show the older travel, hence this request (guess they do a rollover and keep only a certain period)

Can anyone please comment if this delay for FOIA request is normal? Expected timeline? Any personal experience to share? Thanks.

It was around 3 months for me, make sure you upload a scan of your passport and visa to the request as it speeds it up

I recently applied for this. I applied on October 2nd and last week it changed from Submitted to Assignment with a due date of November 21st so if I get it by then, it'll have been less than 2 months.

I included a very specific and to the point request of the information that I wanted and included copies of the passport used for travel and my Canadian drivers licence for further proof of identity etc.

So, I got my US entry records this week from FOIA. All good apart from they are missing 10 entries in the 2013-15 period. Everything from 2015-18 is 100% accurate though. Add this to the fact that CBSA are missing 15 of my entries to Canada in my five year period, it does create a slight discrepancy in my physical presence calculator of a couple of weeks. I'm not too concerned, I have 270 border crossings due to my job and the overwhelming majority of them are displayed as I claimed them on both the CBSA and US records and the ones that aren't are still backed up by my drivers logs from my truck, plus I have over 400 days leeway.
Time will tell though, I have my test/interview this coming Wednesday.

Great. I too received mine this week, quick glance it’s missing few exit dates. Not sure why. Will match it with my travel calculator soon. Is it okay to appeal to fill the missing info? Is appeal meant for this purpose? Thoughts anyone?

How did you get your FOIA records , email or mail? , also can you let us know what was your experience with interview regarding more than 200 US travel? , i have around 100 and 5 of them are showing missing as per i-94 travel history.

Guys, I have a question as well. When do you need Exit/Entry Records or FOIA records? If it's taking 3 months on average to get them, at what point during the citizenship application should we apply for those? Ain't I-94 travel history records from I94 website enough?

I think that in the help section i saw 25 max was mentioned. Last time i mentioned 25 and it was fine and got the records without any charge. This time too i mentioned the same and the request is in process now.
