Flying woth emirates

Did anybody have travel with the emirates flight having a layover in dubai frol india ???

I booked a ticket for the 18th of April and was told by emirates agents that I would face no issues in transiting as long as I have all my documents. A friend of mine also traveled on March 5 with emirates and my sister travelled mid February with Qatar.

I am also planning to book my flight in Emirates should I proceed further ... If you guys have any vital information before I proceed then it would be great.

Also can you please share the experience of your friend who traveled on 5th March via Dubai., there are people saying that at Dubai airport Students have to wait for a longer duration in order to get the confirmation to board the next flight.
