Personally speaking, I would rather leave at another place then Toronto.

I have taken road trips myself and traveled from Montreal to Calgary. I have seen how vast this land is.

Unfortunately, immigrants who come here arrive and stay at big cities because that's where they find people from their own background.

I wish there were more incentives or opportunities for immigrants to spread across this vast beautiful land.

Salam and so very true...........

Salam all,

I know many of you who are being sponsored by your spouses are moving to Toronto, Mississauga, or others places but I know its getting crowded and now they had a bad rain storm so I'm just making you all aware that there are other provinces in Canada.

The over crowing will one day be like Pakistan!! Over crowing and no clean water or food. So please be aware of all this as we need people everywhere In Sha Allah........

Please keep us all in your prayers all brothers and sisters in the world we need strength where ever we go and have a safe and Happy Ramadan and May Allah accept all our fasts and may HE make it easy for all of US

In Sha Allah

Not sure why everyone is ganging up on micmac, she was only concerned about the crows

haha I was just gunna say, Everyone I personally meet, dies to live in vancouver NOT toronto. Not saying there is anything wrong with Toronto, its great!
Vancouver is a huge hot spot for immigrating as well.

And I think people immigrate to Toronto because thats all they know.

I lived in Mexico for a year and most people ONLY knew of Toronto, I had to explain many times that I lived in Vancouver which was no where near Toronto.

I migrated there too - for same reason, big city over crowded - jobs situation bad ( this was 2000-2005 ) - not going any further with details but I came to Vancouver by chance and I had to quit 3 jobs on 2nd day as it got better and better but other than that - climate, people, beauty is simply great here.

I found Vancouver to be too expensive and rainy. I'm 45 minutes away from Toronto, and I love it.

Yeah,
Ive never lived in Toronto but I have friends there who say its hard to find a good job, so much competition.

I was born and raised in Central Alberta, Moved to Vancouver when I was 18 and lived there for 4 years before we went to mexico to sponsor my husband. But we both absolutly loved the city, yes its a bit expensive, but you cannot beat the people, climate, geography. We miss it everyday, once I am finished school we will be moving back to Vancouver for good <3

Right now we are back in Central Alberta and I forgot how damn long the winter lasts here!! blah! lol

This might be a good opportunity to share views about the cities in Canada.

I only lived in Toronto, so I would like to know what others think of the place that they live now compared to Toronto. Of course, you already have lived in Toronto to make your point 8)

Lol you have all got me wrong and if you have read the news lately look how bad is in Canada lately. I'm serious. Floods in Alberta and forever changed the Rockies then floods in Saskatchewan where its flat for miles upon miles then the train wreck in Quebec almost wiped out the whole place. Like Canada is so wide and long if you started at one end Newfoundland to British Columbia driving a straight 24 hours per day it would take 4 days to reach the other end. That's with a few drivers as you need breaks........... I know you think its crazy but everyone comes and wants Toronto Ontario, sorry for the error as were all not perfect I guess. But the same goes for Montreal Quebec........... and so forth.

Take a look around and you will see what I mean??

By the news it shows all of Ontario is starting to get over crowded and Quebec. With so many other provinces open to accepting New Immigrants why not try to move there...
New Brunswick is called the picture province of Canada. Look at Nova Scotia it was the place of many landed Immigrants with Pier 21.

All I'm saying we are so lucky to be born and live here. Its my Native Land as an Aboriginal so why settle for less when you can have more places to live at your own free will that's all I'm saying and just think of Canada as the stepping stone to all that you would love if you could In Sha Allah

SOUTHERN Ontario, is starting to get overcrowded. Go to Sudbury or Timmins, you won't deal with overcrowding.

Personally, the only things I like about Toronto:
CN Tower
Zoo
Wonderland
Hockey Hall of Fame

AND THAT'S ALL. Would never live there, Ottawa, Montreal, or any big city. I'm a city girl yes, but I HATE big cities, purely because it's so damn hard to get anywhere. The same is in NYC or Tokyo. Overcrowding is EVERYWHERE. Not just Canada.
