Hello everyone. I am on study permit in Canada, I finished all my modules and just waiting to get graduated. I got an LMIA supported job offer and I would like to do flag poling. Which border do you recommend me to go here in Ontario and should I have all the forms filled out that we use for online application or just the main documentations (job offer, diploma, passport, English language certificate etc)
PS: Lawyer of company that is supporting me doesn't like to come and do flag poling with me he wants only to apply online. What's your opinion? Thank you in advance

Why aren’t you applying for PGWP? An open work permit is much better than a closed work permit because it allows you the flexibility to change employers if you want to.

Because I am studying in a program that doesn't offer PGWP (private college that I started as I got scholarship because I was unable to effort a PGWP program)

Never heard of a lawyer accompanying individual to flagpole. You should call the closest border to where you live and see if they do flagpoling and when. Some only do a fixed amount per day so I would recommend going at the beginning of the day. I would fill out the online application so that you have all the documentation and proof required ready at the border. That should include LMIA from the employer. You should show proof that you have work and education in the field of your employment which makes you an experience candidate for the job. The online n application will provide a guide for what you should bring with you to the border.
