Flagpoling for visitor visa.

Hi,
My mother is in Canada on a visitor visa. She came on Oct 2022 and already go an extension (via Visitor record) to stay till Oct 2023 (Six months extension approved)
I wish her to stay till Jan 2024 since I will travel with her at the same time. Questions:
1. Can I file for another 6 months extension via visitor record?
2. Can I do a flagpoling (maybe at Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge as I am living in the GTA)

She has a normal visitor visa and it is valid till 2027.

1. Yes, wait until September or October to apply (just before her allowed visit ends).
2. Not recommended. Lower chances of success / higher chances of a problem vs. applying to extend her stay from within Canada.
