IMPORTANT
1. Can I flagpole to apply for a WP at POE with having valid Visitor Record and TRV? I previously had PGWP and expired a few weeks ago.

2. Can my spouse also flagpole with me to apply for a SOWP with having valid Visitor Record and expired TRV? She previously had SOWP until my PGWP expiry date.

I don't think this has been confirmed yet after the new rules were recently implemented regarding applying for work permits from within Canada. If you try, let us know what happens.

I am not so sure about the wp part. But if this spouse do this without a valid visa, it's more than likely he or she will not be permitted to enter Canada again.

Thanks for the input. A few of the RCIC members said we both could apply at POE through flagpole, even though my spouse doesn’t have valid TRV but visitor record. I think it’s possible based on the below statement:
Visa-required travellers
You need a valid visitor visa every time you want to enter Canada, unless you’re returning directly from a visit to the United States or Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.
