I have got response that they don't do fingerprinting. But i saw some posts where people were. Is there anyone on forum who went for flagpolling( landing) at US border and got fingerprinted at us border office

I just went 2 days ago to Rainbow Bridge..There was no problem and the US didn't ask for fingerprints..They simply gave the admin refusal letter and I was on my way

Entirely depends on your citizenship. Fingerprints of citizens of certain countries have to be taken at the port of entry.

One way to tell is to find out whether Americans are fingerprinted when entering your country as it's usually reciprocal.

I was fingerprinted when I was at the AMerican immigration for my landing!

Cruiser55, where did you go for landing if I may ask?
You didn't cross the border, just did your landing, right?
I'd be interested to hear other people's experiences with being fingerprinted by the US while landing.

thisisauser is correct. It depends on your citizenship. I had to go through fingerprint as well even though I was only doing the flag poling and not intended to cross the border. Officer told me just because you are at the border you have to do it! I was at Rainbow bridge.
