Hi,
Friends, just two days back I have got PR. I am in a confused state. We four (Wife, Son and Daughter) from Hyderabad, India. The expiry date of PR is 23-05-2010. Right now we are not in a position to move to Canada. In the month of May my son is taking his 3rd B.Tech 2nd Sem exam and my daughter is taking her Medical/Engineering entrance exams.

My questions are...
1. Whether we can return to India immediately after completing Landing formalities?
2. Can we get our Permanent Resident Cards by giving the address of our friend at Canada by mail?
3. How long we have to stay in Canada for the first visit. (for the reasons we can stay in Canada 10 to 15 days only)

Please, answer any one in this regard.

just remember the rules about keeping your PR.
Also i read somewhere it is illegal for someone to mail your PR card but not sure how true it is and apparently everyone does it.

Maaties, where does your case stand currently? I am eager to know if Buffalo has picked up any speed or not as I my timelines are 12 months away from yours
