First Time Travelling Guidance

Hi,

I will be travelling to Canada for the first time from India and wanted to know essential things to carry in Canada?

Jacket and Blanket - Should I bring themthem India or is it advisable to buy in Canada?

Only these things seems to be essential to me as of now. Please add some important things which I need for sure to survive in Canada?

Take quilts from your home country. probably best to take one jacket with you for when you land there. after landing, if the jacket is not suitable, get a new jacket when you have the time.
