First PR Card

I have seen some YouTube clips, which are showing that the first PR card after arrival in Canada would not need to be applied for in person, or online, it would nevertheless be posted to our physical address within few weeks after arrival.

Since It wouldn't be applied for, I need to ask what photo would they use in the first PR card? Same which was taken at the time of biometrics?

hi, When you recieve your COPR, it will have a photo attached to it, the same photo will be used for the PR card. Also, when you land and do the landing formalities, the office at the airport will send the application for PR card directly after taking the mailing address from you.

I would think so? When I was going through the process a few years back, they used the photos that I provided when I received my PPR. Don’t think any new photos need to be taken or provided once you have landed.
