Hello,
I landed in Canada on June 3rd with my wife and completed PR landing procedures at Toronto Airport. We submitted one CoPR copy and were told our PR cards would be sent to the Toronto address we provided.
However, more than 200 days have passed, and we have not received our PR cards. On December 18th (199 days after landing), I received a request in my IRCC account asking for new photos and a CoPR copy to process my PR card. The letter also mentioned that failure to submit these within 180 days of landing would require a fee to reapply.
The letter provided an address in Sydney, Nova Scotia, to send these documents. Given that the request came after 199 days and exceeds the stated 180-day timeframe, should I send the required documents (photos, CoPR, and passport) along with a letter of explanation highlighting this issue?
Additionally, I would like guidance on how I can make immigration aware of this issue to ensure my PR cards are sent to the given Toronto address. This delay is critical as my entire career and life in Canada depend on completing this final step.
Thank you for your help.
