I got my study permit rejected for the following reasons:

.*have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees
for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue

*You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
purpose of visit
personal assets and financial status.

*You failed to provide evidence of academic standing in the US. I am not satisfied that the program of study will bring professional and educational advancement.

The following are the documents i supplied in addition to the required forms
Sponsorship letter from parents who also funded my BSc in the USA.
Receipt from seneca college showing fees paid for first semester
SOP
letter of admission from seneca college
Bank statements with a current balance of $2000USD

What should i do to increase my chances of being granted a visa when i reapply?

You should show a bank balance of atleast 12000 canadian dollars. Plus show any properties/business your parents have to show ties to home country.

visa officer's refusal points are valid,,,, you have already done BSc from USA then you should apply for masters at any good university,,, your statement is very low,,,, minimum $10,000 CDN is required in addition to your first year's tution fees,,,, do not get sponsorship from anyone,,,, try to show money in your name
