Fingerprints for US Police Certificate

I am German but lived in the US for a while, which is why I need to obtain a police certificate from the FBI. I currently reside in Québec with my sponsor. Does anyone know if I can go to any police station in Québec to have fingerprints done?

Unless your sponsor happens to be military, I'm sorry, I'm of no help. Since my husband is military, we were able to get the base (police?) to do it for me. We never had to check out the police stations.

A google search for "fingerprint services Quebec" will net results for many accredited places to have your fingerprints done. Tell them it is for US FBI check and they will use the correct format/procedures.
