Fingerprints for Oman PCC

Hello,

I need to get a PCC form Oman. Part of the requirements are "original fingerprints". I am not a citizen of Oman. I am living in Canada, applying for PR. I am sending the request by mail.

I went to the RCMP. They said in order to provide fingerprints they need a form from Oman? Anyone else encounter this? How did you get your fingerprints?

Update: I wrote an email to dgfacid@ROP.GOV.OM asking for PCC with all 'relevant' documents. They replied with the PCC within few days and mailed the original to my address. The PCC are without MOFA attestation.

Hello All:

I am on a study permit and my wife and children are on Visitor record status. All with an expiry date Aug 30th 2021. Now as per Guide 5551, "for any permit, you should always apply at least 30 days before your current status expires". Now I cannot apply 30 days before my expiry date as my course is going to finish only a few days before the expiry date. I will apply for PGWP and BCPNP as soon as I get the certificate from the University. My question is whether I can apply for the visitor record extension for my family in advance without any link to my PGWP application?
