Hello all

Ok I went and got my fingrprints today and I filled out the FBI background check altho my question is when it asks me where to send the results to I should put myself in the C/O area correct to send with my sponsorship application correct? I got the moneyorder for the 18$ to for the back ground check but had some friends that could do the finger printing for free for me yay! I just want to make sure I am doing this in the right order.

My Medical exam is Feb 12th and I will have that all done with as well, just trying to check off the list of things but I wonder..... do I send my sponsorship application in before all my FBI things, or medical exam gets done? Am I jumping the gun here?

Starting to panic... :-X

Your FBI check AND your medical MUST be with your application.

Yes, you request the results of the FBI check be sent to you. I will take approximately 6 weeks for you to receive your official results letter back from the FBI (that what folks have been seeing lately, although the website says something like 12 weeks). You send the FBI results letter and the IMM1017 form the Dr will give you (to show your medical was done), along with all your checklists, forms, photos, proof of relationship and other supporting documents when you have EVERYTHING.

If you haven't already, you should print out the Sponsor and Applicant checklists and make notes and check things off as you have them done. Of course, you will print clean copies to check off and include with your application ;) but they were really great for keeping me organized and to know where I was with my huge piles of paper!

In case you haven't come across it yet, here is a great thread that talks about organizing your application. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t92449.0.html. Some people post that they have been successful with far less labeling and organization, but it is a helpful discussion to decide how you should organize yours.
