CIC asked my Fingerprint on Apr 27, I did it same day and updated received on May 18. My BGC still in progress till today!

but, They invited me to do the test on June 6 ( June 13-July 4), pass the test on June 13 and updated on tracker June 15.

so confused! Why they still working on the BGC? Why they let me to do the test without BGC complete?

I have seen people on FB Citizenship Test group, where they shared while their background check was in progress, they received Citizenship test, after test they asked them to provide FP, after receiving FP they completed background check. So it seems like there is no set pattern.

weird, I did fingerprint before the test…., no idea how long it will take to get everything done…

Question: when you guys went to do the fingerprint, have you bring your Record of landing or COPR?

your proof of permanent resident status - Record of Landing (IMM1000) or Confirmation of
Permanent Residence (IMM5292 or IMM5688);

I took everything with me like COPR, PR Card and Passport, infant all these are inside a folder so I took the folder there, but that processor just asked for PR card to verify name and UCI number.

Hi , did you receive your citizenship already? My RCMP office did not include this reference as well, did you have any issues with the fingerprints?

Looks like this is common with RCMP. I had mine done too and the file reference number was not included. I have sent my RCMP Fingerprint report (including a written and signed letter with my UCI and reference number) to IRCC and they should receive it today as I'm tracking it. I will wait to see it updated soon.

i just wrote a cover letter to them that im forwarding my finger print report to them as received from RCMP. I wrote my Date of birth, UCI and citizenship file number. I also included a printed copy of the fingerprint letter i received from IRCC to go do fingerprint. I did not even mention in the letter that RCMP omitted my reference number.

No big deal. I think we should fine as this looks common. Ordinarily, they can always link your fingerprint report to your citizenship file with your date of birth, full names and ofcourse maybe your picture.
