Hi all,

I have these questions.

Officer said they will mail me the results. He also mentioned that they are not going to send it to CIC.
Am I allowed to open the envelope before sending to CIC.
It has vancouver address on the return letter however my office is surrey

Is it advised to get police clearance before applying, as it seems to be asked without any specific reason just because the officer wants that

Is this the fingerprinting for Canadian citizenship?
I suppose you can open the envelope and send the fingerprints unless the letter states not to open.
Contact the fingerprinting agency to confirm if you are allowed to open the package.
Once you confirm, send the fingerprinting results to cic's local office address which has been mentioned on the letter sent by cic(fingerprint request letter).

Usually fingerprinting agency sends the documents to cic and if they don't then they send it to the applicant. It happened with my friend 1 or 2 years ago as he got the original fingerprint letter and he mailed it to cic and then he was called for test/interview and then he got the oath.

Hi,

They sent me in the letter and mentioned to send it vancouver office however my case office is surrey.
Should I send this letter to them as my application number and client ID on that letter as well as request.
