Me (Canadian citizen) and my common-law partner (UK citizen) are moving back to Canada together from England soon where I will apply to sponsor him as my common-law partner so he will enter Canada as a visitor with me.
We are applying for his police check while we still live here in England and will bring it to Canada with us, it is the only one he will require. In the UK it's called an ACRO police certificate. There is no requirement when applying for this here in the UK to be fingerprinted, so can we skip having this done?
I keep reading the document checklist and don't see on any of the forms where it asks for his fingerprints. Only in an Appendix that I can't find referenced in any other form. I am so confused.
Help?
