Fingerprint requested

Hi all, I got a letter for my fingerprint , I live in Calgary ab, where i should do it need the speedy one and how much is the fee

We did ours at Commissionaires (https://www.commissionaires.ca/en/offices). They were fast, easy, and reasonably priced (around $50 and they take care of everything - taking the prints electronically and sending directly to CIC).

I booked an appointment with Canadian legal services, I don't know how they will work , do u have any idea ? And how long does it take after finger price that u will be asked to atten oath ??

I don't know what that is. I used Commissionaires. Our fingerprints were received by CIC about 10 days after we did them. They have to go to RCMP for processing and then RCMP sends over. This was back in February. We are still waiting for Oath. There is no guaranteed timeline for anything. It truly is just a waiting game.

I'm wondering is this fingerprint request in addition to the fingerprint that you gave to the police to receive no criminal records certificate to include in your application when you submitted it initially?

ohhh u r waiting since February that is so wiered i have seen people without finger print request got the citizenship in 2 months after test , so this finger print issue will take that long,

When u do finger print then u don't need any certificate or anything they will send it to rcmp and rcmp will send it to cic

When you want to send your citizenship application at first, one of the required documents to include in your application is a original police certificate for each country that you have been for a total of 183 or more in the 4 years immediately before the date of your application. One of these countries is definitely Canada itself. So, you need a police certificate with finger print from Canada to include in your application when you send it at first.

I meant you already included the police certificate with finger print from Canada in your application when you send it at first, but you still got a fingerprint request letter after the test for a new fingerprint?

One of these countries is definitely Canada itself. So, you need a police certificate with finger print from Canada to include in your application when you send it at first.

I haven't been out of Canada since I moved to Canada , so that is why I didn't send any finger print or police certificate at the beginning while submitting my application, and after the test even they didn't say anything about fingerprints, they only said I have to wait till I get the letter for the oath and it takes between 1 to 3 months , so now I got the letter for the finger print,
