Fingerprining request

Recently we've got a RCMP fingerprinting request from IRCC. Can you help me:
1. I cannot find an official list of places which are accredited to take fingerprints and send them to RCMP?
2. The instructions are confusing. First, they tell that we have to submit the results within 30 days, in another place they say that fingerprints are sent to RCMP and RCMP sends to IRCC the results of the checks. Should we send anything anywhere or just submit the fingerprints?
Thanks

Are you referring to RCMP certified criminal record? You can get the fingerprints done at you local police station, make sure you ask digital prints. The report will be mailed back to you in about 2 weeks if no match found. I got mine report back in 8 days.

Yes, fingerprints for RCMP criminal check. How we can find out if IRCC received the results. We did it at the place which doesn't send the results to us, instead it sends the results directly to IRCC. After several weeks, no new information in ECAS.

They gave you a receipt or a declaration to sign. You can scan that and send it in through web form if you are very worried. But I would just be patient.

I don't think ECAS shows any info on whether the document is received. Also normally fingerprint services they can't directly mail the results directly to IRCC. You sure that what they told you?

Yes, absolutely. The documents we received from IRCC were confusing, btw. In one it was said that the results will be mailed to us and we have to submit them to IRCC, in another one that the results will be mailed to IRCC.
But anyway in place were we gave the fingerprints they told us that they send electronic FP to RCMP and they send the results directly to IRCC. At the FP place we gave address of the IRCC office to submit the results.

I got my fingerprint check done in Commissionaires and they send it electronically. I think some places send it in for us and some mail it to us expecting us to send it.
