Finger Prints

Hello guys

my father has received letter for finger prints but I am surprised as they asked him to go to CIC-ND office for fingerprints, usually they asked applicant to do all the fingerprints at submit the prints at CIC. Does anyone has any idea?

I think these are the prints they wants to send for a check in Canada. My husband just had his prints completed and it took 6 months to complete. Either your husband lived here in Canada more than 6 mths, he has a common name or they just want to confirm no fraud i.e he came here previously under a fake name etc. So unfortunately this does add a bit of time on your application.

ya he lived more than 6 months here in canada on tourist visa. anyway what the time line for fingerprints from new delhi?
