Hi, i gave my fingerprints and sent to fbi and they rejected it. I am currently working in Michigan and went to local sheriffs office to give my fingerprints. Did anyone else have this issue? How do i make sure it doesn't get rejected next time?

It's actually a very common issue. This is due to various reasons:
-Low fingerprint quality
-Bad ink
-Bad technique (not rolling fingers properly)
-Going over the box line

Go back to police department with the form to get it done again. FBI advises to have at least 3 samples made to increase chances.
Also, if you have access to it, do a live scan fingerprinting (the fingerprint machine reader).
If you can't do any of the above, try buying fingerprint ink pad online. Search for "SIRCHIE Porelon", and give it another try yourself.

Thank you for your reply. Do you know what proof of employement they want? I have been working in my company for more than one year so will a letter from HR stating my start date be enough ? Thanks in advance for your help.

Unfortunately not. The basic HR letter stating just salary and start date won't be enough.

The letter needs to satisfy the following:
-Work hours (Minimum 30h/week for full-time)
-Salary
-Part-time or full-time
-Job Title
-Start Date
-End Date (if applicable)
-Any previous positions you held at the company
-Job Duties. They need to match the NOC you're declaring in your EE profile. It's the most important part.
-Company or supervisor's contact information
-Needs to be on company letterhead.

It's probably the most important piece in your application.

I have applied to FBI e-fingerprint service and I got a pdf and paper results. Paper result is exactly the same as the pdf one. CIC says we need to upload color scan. Should I scan it or just uploading the pdf version is good enough?
