Finger print record check

My BF is in canada im trying to Sponsor him he is inside canada for about one year and 3 months he got a criminal record check already in canada but now he needs to get one from the Uk he needs a criminal record check with a Finger Print as well from the United Kingdome is there any way to get can get it while he is in canada Ontario

He has been to the British Embasy they said to do it online Gov.uk and the online folder said to go to the local police station and they said they cant do it so what can he do ??

Fingerprints are not required to get a UK police certificate so not sure where you have seen that, just a passport size photo I believe to the specification quoted on the instructions

Do not confuse with an actual criminal record check as below which is for employment applications such as airside passes and so on , not immigration applications.
