You will have to get Canadian Qualification if you want to work in your field in Canada. It is good for you to stay in Middle East as long as you can. Try to find some other job in Middle East.

You would have seen in the news that quite a lot of people are being laid off, including very big companies like Citi etc. But since you are coming somewhere only next year, lets hope things will iprove by them.
