I had applied for Canadian immigration 2 years ago under the skilled worker category. I am still waiting for reply. However I want to prepare myself for future. I few questions about getting job in Canada. As I have read and heard from people that it’s very difficult to get proper job there. I want to ask people who have already immigrated there that to get a small office job like secretary or receptionist or some clerical job what skills I must have. I am proficient in MS office, Epi info, SPSS, Smart draw etc. I already know that I am 40 yrs old and to get a proper job in my own field which is Public health will be very difficult.
