Hi there,

If all goes smoothly, I would be moving to Vancouver in mid 2022. I was wondering if anyone has experienced moving with their pet and finding a house rental?

I have done quick search and it seemed difficult to find any homes that are open to pets.

Happy to receive any suggestions : )

Cheers!

You just need to keep looking. A family with a dog rented a house near me recently.

You might want to work with a real estate agent. That might make things easier for you.

Can depend on what size of dog. When it comes to Vancouver your budget will also be factor.

House rentals in Vancouver area are expensive and difficult to find in a good location. There are more options available
with greenspace that will allow for big dogs and cats within a reasonable commute. Find a location near Skytrain station in
nice area away from all the 'well known' bad areas.

The size and breed of your dog may be a determining factor due to some liability issues with the insurance companies.
