Finding a job in SK from BC

Hi,

I will be going back to Canada this September and for good. Got PR/PR Card last year but went back to my country right away for some reason. When I go back, I'll be looking for a job related to architecture.

Just some questions (no need to answer all):
1.) Is it possible/acceptable to find a job in SK from BC or any other province? The reason is that 1.) SK gave me the Provincial Nomination though I would be migrating there anyways, 2.) All of my relatives are in BC - so it's less of a burden staying with one of them and not having to find a house first.

2.) How long typical can I find an architecture related job in SK? My preference cities are Saskatoon and Regina...

3.) What tax-related issues should I take? Already have a SIN

4.) No big deal if I travel Canada for leisurely reasons for a month while sending resume'?

1. SIN is not a problem, it only tells in which province you got it. But you can use it in whole Canada.

2. yes you can travel but.. But imagine that you are called for an interview in Regina tomorrow and you are currently in Montreal for example? It will not be easy to get there so fast (not to mention, that it will be expensive). So you shall choose - either a leisure time (where you will relax for a few weeks) or an active job hunting, that requires sitting near by, sending out resumes, visiting job fairs and being ready for an interview.

3. Architecture is way too general, you need to specify in which area exactly do you have experience (as Canada loves specialists).

Thanks Vensak.

No need to answer back on the archi part. My specialization is office fit-out design and space planning.

check out more details about it. If it was for private houses or commercial building or for something outdoor. Or if it was more like with logistics part.
Also I have read somewhere that not all branches of architects are called architect here. So search a bit how exactly is your specialization called here. You need also take into consideration licencing that will be needed so that you can work in it.
