Hi, i hv 5 years experience in a govt department in pakistan and also have worked volantarily as social worker during my studies. i done masters in sociology in 2009. now i hv ques related to caregiver or child protection officer. Can experts guide how can i apply for caregiver to get jobsin this profession or to get LIMA. I' ll be very thankful in advance.

It doesn't sound like you meet the requirements to be a caregiver.

In order to be a caregiver, you need to have at least one year of related and paid work experience in the last three years or at least six months of related education in the past three years. Your masters was completed too long ago and won't be counted. Your volunteer work won't be counted either because it wasn't paid.

To the best of my knowledge jobs like a child protection officer are only available to Canadian permanent residents and citizens.

Thanks a lot for ur kind reply.
Now i m describing more about my accurate situation. I m working since july 2011 as a child protection officer in BS 17 and done masters in 2010 actualy including my thesis. But on my degree it mentioned from 2007 to 2009 like 2 years programm and got my WES equivalency report that says my degree is equal to 4-years bachelor program. i also got overall 6 band in IELTS. My brother is also living in Canada since 2013 on PR. So should i apply for Express Entry to get PR or what would be the ideal situation to get PR by keeping in viewing the above circumstances?
Waiting for ur reply,
Thanks in advance

It still doesn't sound like you meet the requirements for the live in caregiver work permit.

You will have to research Canada's immigration programs on your own to determine if you qualify to apply for PR and through which programs. This information can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp
