hey there I have a question. I'm from Germany and I wanna study Early childhood education which is for a year. So the tution fee is 15.000$.i red that you need to proof living expenses. I'm living with our family friend so I don't pay any rent or food. And I red online you need to proof living expenses (10.000$)+ tutuiom fees for the first year. Now since I don't pay rent or any bills I don't need to proof the 10.000$, right? And I will have a payment plan where I pay half of my tution at the start of the studies. Do I still need to proof 15.000$ or only half of it? And do I just need a bank statement or do I need to keep the money in for a couple of months?

You will need to show you can pay the entire 15,000 tuition fees. It can be from multiple forces such as savings back, loan etc. You will also need to show 10,000 as living expenses regardless of your living arrangements.

You could her away with showing a little less than 10,000 but I would not recommend it. You don't have to use the money, but you have to show that you have access to 10,000 CAD.

Is it okay if my family friend just send a bank statement and a document that says that I do not need to take care of the full 10.000$? So I need to proof that I have 25.000$? What if I arranged a payment plan with my studies and I just need to pay 9.000 first and then the rest? Do I only need them 19.000$ in my bank? And I could proof that I would also have a part time job so I could pay of the other part of my studies.

Your family friend could sponsor you, but you will need to provide a sponsorship certificate along with the bank statement of said family friend.

If you are making a tuition payment, then that would get deducted from the total amount you need to show as proof. You will need to show the receipt of the fees that you paid.
