Financial Sponsorship - Single or Joint?

Hi everyone,

I'm applying for a Visit Visa for my parents. My dad has funds in the amount of roughly CAD 30K, and my mom roughly 8K. For the financial sponsorship, would you recommend that the sponsor be my dad only, or would it be better to have a joint sponsorship, with both my dad and mom being joint sponsors?

I was being curious because in the second case, the total amount of funds available to mention on the IMM5257E would be 38K instead of 30K.

Hi everyone, if someone could please advise.. I'm just not sure if a joint sponsorship "weakens" the case.. Would you think the funds available with my dad are "sufficient", or should I go with the joint sponsorship?
