Hi all,

I am applying for the a study permit soon and i am in the process of writing my SOP, so In the financial support section i wrote the below, please revise it and advise of your supportive comments and let me know if it's persuasive enough, given that i already got an LOA for pgd for 2 years

**************************
As an international student, it was significantly important to me to plan for my finances for my stay in Canada, the below is an honest justification of my finances and why and how I am able to fund myself during that period in Canada.
As I mentioned above, I am blessed with a great father who appreciates Education, he has been spending his entire career life between, studying, researching, lecturing teaching and learning until he became a University professor in Biology, with that being the case, he was really supportive both financially and morally to the idea of having my post graduate education abroad.

As an International student, I am fully aware of the sort of expenses I am required to cover, so, after to talking to my father we came up with the agreement that he is going to assist me with paying about 75% of the needed finances whereas the rest of amount I will be paying with my personal savings.
In order to do what we agreed on, throughout the past 5 months he cash deposited a total amount that is equal to about 35,000 CAD in batches (in the local currency of Egypt), whereas the rest of the amount (around 9400 CAD) has been already being deposited by myself to the same bank account I own forming a total amount of about 44,400 CAD from which I have paid my first year tuition of 16000 CAD through a wire transfer as proven by theattached invoice.
The attached bank statements for my 2 bank accounts plus my father’s bank account prove the breakdown of the above calculation.

Thank you

Hi
I honestly don’t know what to tell you. But what I know is in the financial proof, the more documents to submit the better. I still didn't apply for one, but I will submit my bank statement plus my father’s bank statement too. Although my savings should be enough, but I was advised to put my father’s to strengthen my application.

for you, what matters is that the total amount should be enough to finance your tuition fees + living expenses for at least 1 year (10,000 CAD) + 2,000 (CAD) for travel expenses (optional but highly recommended)
