I guess you can if your brother will be your sponsor. Usually applicants can show their own bank statement or that of their sponsor. CIC also requires you to submit bank statements from the last 4-6 months. Evidence of the sale will help show the VO the source of your funds. Its up to you to pick who the sponsor will be. Your brother will have to submit an affidavit to confirm that he will support you. You can attach any and all financial documentation to prove that you will be able finance your education and stay in Canada.
