Hi,

I recently got a conditional admit from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, the admission included a funding package of $17,000 per annum. The total tuition fee plus other fees included per year is going to be around $5,300. Now if we add $10,000 minimum living expenses to this figure it still is less than the funding amount.
So my question is do I need to show a strong financial statement/financial proof for the study permit?

It is better if you show extra financial proof. If you search the forum, you can find that many with the similar case didn't show anything extra and got the application approved and few got rejected on the basis of funds (even after having a full scholarship).
