I finally received an email from my lawyer, asking for Passport Request.

AOR: March 2005
File Transfered: LA Jan 2006
Request for Interview: July 2006
Interview Held: October 2006
Medical Done: November 2nd 2006
Additional Meds: Dec 2006
FBI & Landing Fee sent : Dec 2006
Passport Request: April 9th 2007.

Congrats!! Are you in IT? I've heard about a paradox about Canada. They say that it's harder to find IT job compared to US but then again Canada is one of the G8 countries (implies strong economy) & one of the best places to live. How is this possible?

Hey Maplehead, I'm not in IT... Ive been working as a Assistant Creative Director in Miami for an advertising agency. So will keep on doing the same in Canada also, its a big market there.

About IT jobs scene in canada. I am begining to find that out myself. The market out there is really slow for sure... I am been applying for the last few days. When I am looking for a project in the US, I am flooded with calls all day.. My phone has not run once...

It will be interesting to find out that Canada is not really a nice place to work in, if you are in IT.

Will keep everyone posted on my job search..
