I visited my husband mid December then while visiting him his father was announced brain dead so I ended up extending my stay till mid Feb .. I couldn’t leave him suffering by himself !!

I'm sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately, this is likely to have an impact on your application. Maybe someone more experienced can weigh in here.

It’s ok .. even if we don’t get approved I will leave everything behind to be together .. at the end of the day this is what we are fighting for .. to be together

Yes think the 2 month absence is one of the big issues. I noticed that @Hana Diabas wasn’t every upfront with the information. It is best to be upfront about your 2 month absence, apologize and provide documentation of the death. Not sure the absence will be tolerated but they is your best shot.

You have to remember that people do lie on their applications or don’t follow the rules because they don’t know them so visa officers have to be suspicious.

Agreed. You don't get to pick and choose what information you share with IRCC. If you do that, your application will be refused. If they find you hid information, your husband will be banned.

Are you absolutely confident you were at the marriage contract signing? Why would IRCC think your father signed it on your behalf?

I agree. A two and a half month absence from Canada by a PR sponsoring a spouse looks like returning to their home country and abandoning the app. It's also kind of concerning that the OP only appears to have a few months of information available unless pressed. We are being nicer than IRCC will be.

Ok everyone.. take it easy on me ! I appreciate ur feedback but I’m already stressed !

I have pictures for when I signed the contract so I can easily prove that
And I can prove that my father was just my witness and I did sign the Arabic original contract and when we translated that I didn’t attach the Arabic certificate that shows my clear signature so that can be easily managed
My only concern is the 2mo absence.. I visited my husband where he lives right now and we have had family emergency..

We are taking it easy on you, you are one step away from having your application refused. I'm sorry that this is happening to you but it's very serious.

How much was your original visit and tickets for? You aren’t supposed to leave during sponsorship so if you could show that you only intended to go for something like 2 weeks that would be better. Was your husband aware that you were putting his sponsorship at risk when staying? Did you leave right after the funeral? That could demonstrate that you left as soon as possible if you have documents proving when he died. Burial would usually be within 24 hours.
