hello everyone!

After 10 years long love relationship with my husband ! After all what we went through from being apart ! This officer decided that he is not convinced with our relation ! I won’t complain much and I’ll push myself to stay strong !

Application received May3-2018
Transferred to London July15-2018
First update after file transfer was today April 23-2019 .. took them 9 months to update us !

Officer is not convinced that I’m currently in Canada !! And he is not convinced I was present at time of ceremony !!

I’m sharing this update to send a message for whoever is struggling right now .. u are not alone ! I knew my husband since I was 18yrs old and of course I was present at time of ceremony ! I’m just wondering how would this officer miss the passport stamps I provided in my application showing my entery ! Why did it take so long to update us ?

I’m so drained !

Could be helpful to paste your letter here, remove all names . Some seniors may be able to assist with how to respond to it.

Stay Strong!

Did you wait to file until you had your marriage celebration and until you were able to live together? Just quickly glanced over your posts and we all suggested you wait and not file after civil marriage.

I think you need to first calm yourself down.procedural fairness is your last opportunity to address their concerns. Submit whatever they are requesting and where you don't have kindly give a vivid explanations and other supporting document to proof your relationship .l believe after addressing them they would take it into consideration for final decision .l wish you all the best

Are you in Canada now?

Were you in Canada when you submitted the application?

When the marriage contract was signed, were you and your husband both present?

They are asking for more photos
How do u guys normally submit these extra documents.. by email or mail or webform ?
What is the fastest and most reliable way ?

Can you post the full letter you received?

If you have been in Canada since 2013, how were you both in the same place to sign the marriage contract?

The PFL is a very serious matter, which I'm sure you know. You'll definitely need to be strong, but you'll need to address each part of the PFL.

We signed the contract 2016 at that time my family and I traveled to Palestine for a vacation and for the ceremony at that time we signed it then I returned to Canada and went back in 2017 when we got actually married .. I’m strong till the end

This is all good to hear. Are you able to post a copy of the PFL? I'm sure you're strong and able to handle this.

You have provided a marriage contract certificate from the Palestinian National Authority in support of your application. From the information listed on this certificate it is indicated that your sponsor may not have been physically present when the ceremony relating to this document was conducted and that she was represented by someone else, specifically her father. Please confirm whether or not your sponsor was physically present at this ceremony. If she was present, please explain why she did not sign the marriage contract and please submit evidence of her physical presence at the marriage ceremony, such as photos of you together, and a copy of her passport showing her entry and exit stamps for that trip.

Your sponsor is not a Canadian citizen, and therefore she is required to be resident and present in Canada during the period of this application. You have not submitted sufficient evidence to demonstrate that your sponsor is currently resident and present in Canada. Please submit evidence of her current residence there, such as employment documents, credit card or bank statements, accommodation documents (such as tenancy agreements), utility bills or other documents which demonstrate her presence and continuing residence in Canada
