Hello people I just want to share my experience with my citizenship application. I applied 3 times since December 2014, but got accepted in my third trial after 3 months of delays. The first time I send my application the last week of December 2014. But the Office opened my file until the beginning of January. So it was returned because the fees were not enough to cover my application. The file was returned well organized so I decided to change only my application date and the time I've been in Canada for my second application. Also, with the second applicacion I attached a letter mentioning I was adding official transcripts from my School as a proof my Education, not as a proof of my English. (The first time I added unofficial ones printed from my school website, because the officials were not ready at that time) My proof of English was my certificated issued by Algonquin College, from my LINC courses and validated by Canada Inmigration. But I think somebody didn't do his job properly and the application was returned for a second time, because they said that my LINC certificate was not valid. The next time I almost desist on the idea of getting the citizenship, because it was a waste of money and time and energy. But then again I decide to try it only once more. And voila! This time it worked out. I I just changed the dates on my application again. I sent a letter stating the facts about the LInC certificates which appears in the CIC website. I changed de dates again and label each document with very big fonts to make sure they would read each document and so they could make the difference between English proof and Education proof. Now 3 days ago I got a letter mentioning that they accepted my applicacion. After 3 months! I hope now everything goes on smoothly.
Thanks!
