Finally got the medical request from LVO but ......

Hi guys !!!

After a long wait of 2 years and with no access to E case I have finally received medical request from London visa office , but I have two issues :

1. In the medical report form they have typed my country of birth as India , whereas I was born in Ras al Khaimah in UAE. What should I do ? Just go ahead with my appointment for medicals and hope no one notices this or send a enquiry reporting this error and requesting another form? It's their mistake as they have my passport copies and all documents where they know my country of birth.

2. They have returned the draft of 550 dollars that I sent to receiver general for Canada. In a letter to me they have asked to submit again processing fees of CAD 550 and said the uncashed bank draft is being returned. Why have they returned it back? On the draft it says account closed.
so where do I send this processing fee? Which address?

Are you one of those pre-june who were requested by LVO to submit updated form, docs, and rprf but without MR?

I wasn't asked to submit any updated forms.

I sent my full documents to London in April 2010 and got AOR in July 2010.

Since then there was no correspondence from their side till today when I got my medical request directly and updated police clearance certificate.

Any advise on what I shud do about my birth country error?

I think you should inquire about this error with LVO as they usually mention on the instructions to check all the details on your Med form before conducting the Medicals...

1.You should ask them to correct this error first....don't go ahead with it, thats my advice.
2.The draft must have expired and they couldn't encash it.....hence asking for a new one......to the made in the same way u did earlier and payable to "Receiver General for Canada".

I have sent an enquiry to London visa office to change my country of birth and also they have switched my first names and surnames, so I attached. Copy of my passport as well to validate this information.

Ans to question one send an email to ur vo informing them of the mistake in ur form also update them with your birthcertifacate u can scan and send I belive they already have a copy of that

And I am sure they will ask you to go ahead with your medicals all the same u can proceed with ur medicals if you do not hv much time

Ur dmp can make the corrections if he dosent agree then go ahead with what u hv I had same issues too. Though mine was mistake in date of birth

Ans to two send another draft 550 in canadian dollars and send as soon as possible
