My time line

Nationality: Pakistani

Application received in Mississauga Office: 17-04-2009

Decision Made CIC-M: 12-05-2009

Application starts processing at CIC-London: 28-05-2009.

Email received for an interview: 10-07-2009

Sent 2nd Medical after expiring first one on 20th-03-2010

Interview Scheduled: 12th-04-2010 (yes waited almost 9 months)
Medical result received on 04-05-2010 (initially they were unable to find my medical result. They have asked for detail about medical. Like tracking number of delivery, GP Name, address etc. Finally they found my 2nd medical ..... Bravo). Yes waited more than 2 months for this issue.

05-05-2010 Request for Passport
20-05-2010 Received Visa

Total time: 13 months finally resigned from Job and will be departing to Canada next month.
 
Good times make sure you help our Economy and don't do like others that as soon as they get their permanent resident card go back to their countries and only come back here when they are sick to take advantage of our system.

I'm at the London office too...waiting for an interview to be scheduled for my husband for 3 months now..

Well, immigrants who came to Canada are very much willing to shoulder the economy but they face discriminations in terms of job opportunities. It seems that white collar jobs are reserved for native Canadians (Canadian by birth) and immigrants have to do the donkey work. Correct me if I am wrong.
